Dr. Roshan Koshy Jacob is one of the leading Medical Oncologist. He is presently working as Medical Oncologist at Zulekha Hospital, Sharjah. Prior to joining Zulekha, he was working with American Oncology Institute, initially at Nagpur Maharashtra and later on at Calicut, Kerala. He has vast experience treating all solid and haematological malignancies across all the age groups. He completed his MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, Karnataka in 2009 and M.D. in General Medicine from NITTE University, Mangalore, Karnataka in 2012. He also got his Post Graduate Program in Diabetology from John Hopkins University, USA. After his postgraduation he earned his DM in Medical Oncology from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, Karnataka in 2018 along with DrNB in Medical Oncology, National Board of Examinations. He has gained his ESMO (European Society for Medical Oncology) examination certificate in September 2019. He has also completed MRCP- SCE Medical Oncology (UK) in September 2021, degree awarded by Royal College of Physicians UK.
Dr. Roshan Koshy Jacob has expertise in the areas of solid malignancies, haematological malignancies, intensive Care and procedures such as Lumbar Puncture, Bone Marrow Aspiration and Bone Biopsy, Liver and Renal Biopsy, Pleural & Ascitic Aspiration, Central Venous Line Implantation, Endotracheal Intubation, Mechanical Ventilation, Dialysis Catheter Insertion.
Dr. Roshan Koshy Jacob’s keen interest in academics emphasized him to get actively involved in the teaching of undergraduate and post graduate medical students. He was an active participant in all aspects of conducting Conferences and CMEs in department of Medical Oncology, General Medicine.
Dr. Roshan Koshy Jacob has published various articles in renowned Medical Journals. He is a Life Member of Indian Medical Association (IMA), Association of Physicians of India (API), Academic Life Member of Regional Society for Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI), Diamond Member of Indian Institute of Emergency Medical Services (IIEMS) and member of European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), Indian Society of Medical and Paediatric Oncology (ISMPO).
